Despite material losses and untold amounts of stress, I feel like we’ve reached a second honeymoon phase. You keep saying the same. We’ve had our share of pain and conflict, and we’ve learned to navigate through it, how to approach problems as partners and not adversaries. I love our synergy, the way we work together, almost like we can hear each other’s thoughts, or see them through our eyes. We read each other so well. I know I can always reach out and your hand will be there to steady me. You can ask me anything and I will try to make it happen. The smiles and laughter and small happy times just keep growing better.
